FEES Retraining Recommendations

SASS recommends retaking a basic FEES training course if two years or more have elapsed since previously trained and the SLP has not administered the procedure or analyzed its results as part of routine clinical practice.  Updates and changes in procedures and equipment continue to come available improving the skills and expertise required to perform this complex procedure.
